Matter of Interest

Elections are held annually in May.

The President-Elect, forms and chairs a nominating committee at least 30 days prior to elections to present a slate of qualified candidates to the membership for consideration for election to Board positions. All elected persons must be members of the national ASTD.

Some positions are voted in and some are appointees.

Committees may be formed and members may be appointed to these committee positions to assist the Board in its activities. Committee appointees do not need to be national ASTD members.

Besides being Board Members, these members are also Executive Board Members.

The Nominating Committee has been formed and tasked with the job of finding NEW Board Leaders for our next fiscal year of July 2007 - June 2008. Any and all members in good standing with CTASTD are eligible to run for these positions. We are seeking and we encourage interested members to make themselves available for nomination to any of the positions you see listed above. if you have an interest please contact a board Member now as elections will be held in May and we need to know of your interest by April of 2007.
