meetings. It's not just for the program
presentations, though those are excellent.
It's mostly because we need to get

people who are going through what we are

otherwise proudly display showing you are

association. CTASTD is associated with one

in your FREE CTASTD Newsletter.
Every
month an electronic newsletter is mailed
to subscribers. The newsletter has
important local information in it about
our chapter. You will always find the next
scheduled meeting, stories that benefit
trainers and other professionals in our
industry. You have opportunities to
contribute by writing an article yourself.
The Board needs to approve all articles
before they are published, but we rarely
turn down submissions. This gives you a
chance to be published on the internet and
goes a long way in building image for you
or your company. Most importantly, if you
are a member, you can advertise for FREE
in the newsletter which is seen by nearly
400 professionals in our industry.

Our
own local job bank.
Right
now we simply pull Yahoo Hot Jobs listings for
trainers on our website but we are moving towards providing
members with a credible local listing provided by
the employers themselves. This is accomplished by
establishing relationships with the workplace
community and directly asking them to post their
open jobs with us. This is a new campaign targeted
for a start date of March '07. This will be the
freshest up-to-date listings in CT and eventually
will rival the CT DOL listings providing our
members the best possible real world help they
could use. |
